Regency Hospital Cleveland East Opens Doors

Regency Hospital Company is pleased to announce the opening of its newest hospital, Regency Hospital Cleveland East located at 4200 Interchange Corporate Center Road in Warrensville Heights. Regency Hospital Cleveland East is a 43-bed free standing long term acute care hospital (LTAC) that provides intensive critical care to medically complex patients needing acute care intervention and therapy for a longer time period than a traditional hospital is designed to provide. The hospital began taking patients Tuesday. Regency Hospital Cleveland East is a sister hospital to Regency Hospital Cleveland West which opened in March 2007.

Regency Hospital Cleveland East will employ approximately 200 personnel including about 100 physicians on staff, chief of staff and administrative staff including a CEO. The annual payrolls are estimated at $8,500,000. Regency Hospital Cleveland East will operate 365 days per year; however, will not operate an emergency room, operating rooms, or major radiology programs. These functions will be provided under a Purchased Services Agreement
with local referring hospital(s).
